Global interactive marketing services provider Acxiom today announced the release of Acxiom Impact-X Email 8.1.

What social features does the email marketing platform offer? First of all a “new share-with-social feature that allows email recipients to simply click a button to post a message to their favorite social networks, without being subject to branding and registration from third-party vendors”.
However, there’s more. The company also provides new analytics provide that look at “how successful the newly created social conversations are in engaging consumers”.
From the press release: “Empowered with these new insights, marketers can segment their email programs based on actual client influence and interaction with brand messages in the social channel”.
Acxiom also did some research that indicated a high demand for social capabilities but also, I quote again, “a deep rooted concern by top brands to not subject their end users to third-party branding and signup processes in order to accomplish their social marketing objectives”.
Now that’s interesting to know.
By the way: the Arkansas-based company has several offices in countries including Australia, China, France, Germany, New Zealand, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, The Netherlands, United Arab Emirates and the U.K.
