Of course you know who Lyris is but maybe you don’t know about Lyris HQ yet. It’s an online marketing solution that combines email marketing with social, mobile and search channels.
That’s what I call a tool for integrated and holistic (I love that word) interactive marketing. Is Lyris HQ a tool for social email marketing? Yes, it is. But it’s more than that. And in the end, that’s why this blog is about too: email meets social media but also email meets anything else.
Now why the title of this blog post? Probably, because I got a little excited when I saw that the people at Lyris announced they achieved 100 percent year-over-year growth in customer adoption for Lyris HQ.
Why would that excite me? Because CEO Luis Rivera said, and I quote from the press release, that “the significant increase in Lyris HQ customers demonstrates the market demand for an online marketing solution that integrates email marketing with channels such as social and mobile.”
Yep, we are talking social email marketing and yes, this again proves the topic is burning hot.
I retweeted or tweeted (memory problems) a link to a YouTube video where Luis Rivera briefly explains his views on the market and of course – this is business – the success of his company this year.
Instead of redirecting you to that interview, I just added it below. That’s social media. I get a tweet regarding an interview, discover a press release via Google, post about it, embed the YouTube video and when I post it on my blog it gets on Twitter for those that are interested in it. It keeps amazing me, every day again.
