StrongMail goes social media with viral features and now includes multi-variate testing

It’s been a very busy day so in this post I might do some copy and paste from a press release. Yesterday, StrongMail announced the latest version of its Message Studio.

What’s new? First of all, the new Message Studio now includes Campaign Optimizer, a tool that leverages multi-variate testing to automatically optimize campaigns in real-time.

You know what that means: StrongMail now offers the possibility to test what content etc. performs best so that you can optimize the remainder of the campaign.

Viral marketing + email marketing

Message Studio now also includes StrongMail Influencer.

And you can guess what the ‘Influencer’ part means. Indeed, StrongMail Influencer is a “viral marketing solution that lets consumers share offers and information with their social networks via an engaging and interactive experience”.

More precisely? “StrongMail Influencer enables marketers to track multi-stage sharing behavior across email, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, blogs and other types of social media to identify the biggest brand advocates within their database”.

There are also reporting and usability improvements and finally, Message Studio now features enhanced Social Notes social sharing and Forward-to-a-Friend features that make it easier for recipients to share email campaigns with their social networks.

Update October 2015: StrongMail is now StrongView and has merged with Selligent
