Yesterday, VerticalResponse, announced new social media sharing functionality within its VerticalResponse application.
VerticalResponse, that focuses on small businesses, now allows customers to publish their emails to Twitter and Facebook.
Furthermore, the company announced a new archive feature that allows you to have a hosted web-friendly version of each email you send.
While the announcement is not shocking if you’re used to work with a big social email marketing player, it’s further proof that the integration of email and social media with, among other things, sharing features, is becoming truly mainstream.
The new features are free for VerticalResponse customers and use a “Share Email” link that provides a shortened URL to recipients that points to the hosted version of the email, when the email is sent the shortened URL and message are automatically pushed to the Twitter and/ or Facebook streams of the customer.
