Inbound marketing software company HubSpot (that grew out of MIT research) last week-end posted an interesting presentation about inbound marketing but most of all about the role of Twitter and the changes in the Twittersphere.
The presentation shows that traffic is slowing on Twitter as well as user growth (posted about that before).
But, according to HubSpot Twitter is now a more mature service with on average more followers, more following and more updates.
The presentation also gives a few best practices and shows how Twitter has become a more international service.
There are also some cases but the most interesting are the findings such as the fact that Twitter plays a bigger SEO role and how blogging increases the Twitter reach.
There’s more than that but I don’t want to spoil the fun by saying how the movie, I mean presentation, ends. One word: measurement.
Of course there are some “commercials” but a fresh slideshare presentation worth looking at.
