Lyris HQ shows that social email marketing is burning hot

Of course you know who Lyris is but maybe you don’t know about Lyris HQ yet. It’s an online marketing solution that combines email marketing with social, mobile and search channels.

That’s what I call a tool for integrated and holistic (I love that word) interactive marketing. Is Lyris HQ a tool for social email marketing? Yes, it is. But it’s more than that. And in the end, that’s why this blog is about too: email meets social media but also email meets anything else.

Now why the title of this blog post? Probably, because I got a little excited when I saw that the people at Lyris announced they achieved 100 percent year-over-year growth in customer adoption for Lyris HQ.

Back in November a survey, conducted by Harris Interactive for US-based Cost-per-Lead (CPL) advertising marketplace Pontiflex, showed that only 12% of online adults have provided their social networking information (such as a Twitter handle or Facebook username) to receive promotions from brands.
